Melvin Copper Reed

 
A pipe chanter reed designed to be played by the soloist or band piper and specifically to have a good solid pibroch high G.  These shoulder-cut reeds sound as crisp and clean as they look and pair well with a wide range of chanters. 
 
This reed has a copper rolled staple which gives a more mellow tone and slightly flatter High G and High A.
